Style Post: OOTD

Hey guys! How's your weekend going?

I'm just here to put up a few photos I found of me for New Years Day.

This jumper is a little bit on the cropped side, so I decided to wear a button-up shirt underneath, and since it was a kinda warm that day, I rolled up my pants as opposed to wearing it with boots.

A very casual look. Nothing alarming.

TRIPOD. Yay!!

One of the many things on my Christmas wishlist was a tripod, which I got for Christmas and was given to me by my lil sis.

Honestly, she couldn't have gotten a better gift...this is something I **greatly** needed (next to a DSLR). One of her reasons for granting my wish was so that I can stop bothering her to take my photos *lawwl* 

Makes sense.

So on to the next chapter of picture taking...

I'm not sure how to go about it...well I know how it works and how to make use of it..I'll just find it awkward running back and forth between poses to set timers and take pics; with onlookers/passersby minding my business. I'll get used to all of  this, eventually.

On a second note, school starts tomorrow. Yay I need one more week!

Needless to say, I'm happy on the other hand because I know I'm one step closer to getting my degree and accomplishing my goals.

A lot will be on my plate this semester, so don't expect traffic posts, but do stop by from time to time. I'll post whenever I find the time to. Bear with me.

Seasons Greetings

Over the week(end), I attended a couple of the many Christmas parties that was held in my city, Chicago. I had some cool cool fun, esp since I know I won't be partying for a while...I need to get school work sorted out (like doing my FAFSA!)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

My new favorite bag is this bag I got from F21 last year. I put it away after carrying it twice and forgot all about it. It suddenly resurfaced and I'm in love all over again.

This was the outfit I put together for church for Christmas day service. I paired the turtle neck I once hated with a very comfortable skirt. And of course for the cold, I had to wear tights with it.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a gracious new year.

Enjoy the last days of the year 2012. 

I hope to be a better person in 2013 and accomplish a whole lot through the grace of God.

Oh, I did box braids for the first time. I guess that puts me in business ;)

Congrats grad!!

My big sis recently graduated with her B.A. in biological sciences. Now she's getting ready for something big!

As always, whenever I go to an event, my camera becomes invisible, meaning...I don't take enough photos. Ugh

The few I managed to take is what you'll see, again, not the greatest quality...someone needs a DSLR!

Dearest December

Happy first Monday of the month!

It's December, already! This year flew by, I'd say.

I had a ladies night out with two of my lovely ladies over the weekend. We had a sumptuous dinner at an Italian restaurant *YUM* and then went into town (STL). It was my last outing for the semester.

Also, this would be my last (style) post for at least two weeks-- when I'm done with all 3 of my finals.

 Surprisingly, the weather was a bit warm here. It's been warm lately, not something I expect in the month of December. I hope it stays this way for as long as it can.

I do want a White Christmas however.
