Cami-(old, similar here), Skirt- F21(in stores, similar here), Shoes- Zara (old, similar here), Belt- ArdenB (buy here), Bracelet- ASOS (similar here)

Cheers to a great summer!
It's a skirt story:
I got the peplum skirt two months ago from Forever 21 when I went shopping one bored school weekend. I was done shopping when I spotted the skirt while walking out of the store. I of course took 2 steps back, walked over to the skirt and realized it was in a size small. The skirt looked really tiny, but I bought it anyway without trying it on. I just loved the color, texture, and sided peplum. It was very chic!

Miley Cyrus- We Can't Stop (Official Music Video)

Here's the music video to Miley's song "We Can't Stop" which premiered today.

It's so rebellious, crazy, rad, kids having some cool fun at some house party...from the french fry skull, the boy eating some money-filling sandwich, to her twerk sessions. Yes, she's really mastered the "art" of twerking.
She has really evolved and grown into her own (living young, wild and free)...imagine little Hannah Montana of yesterday.

Miley just might have ruined it for some of you teenage house-party goers if your parents see this :-/

Shoe Trend

It's no news that the gladiators are here to stay for the summer and maybe breeze through Fall season.
Everywhere--in fashion news; blogs; on the runway, gladiator shoes have been noted in different varieties.

One of my favorites is the Valentino "Rockstud Pump". It's a trendy shoe that has been spotted on many celebs and fashionistas. The only thing that is not cute about this particular shoe is its price :-/
It sells for $945 at Nordstrom

You can buy a look-alike for a lower price at TOBI

Another shoe that I'm loving is the lace-up heel.

Ashleigh of thedaileigh wearing Zara's leopard heels
Sold out at Zara, but you can get a similar look here

This type of shoe has other makers and you just have to look through sites to find them.

Tosha of BambisArmoire had hers custom made

A few sites I found that has similar looks:
Designer Giuseppe Zanotti on BG

Besides the gladiators and lace-up heels, heeled sandals with ankle straps are definitely sweeping its way across the fashion scene, and the best place to shop those is ZARA! You can never go wrong with their shoe quality and pricing.

Algebraic Equation

I stumbled across a mathematical problem a few days ago, and I must say I'm rather disappointed at the answers some people gave.
This is a reoccurring math problem that has varying solutions and methods at arriving at individual answers. The most popular being 1 and 9. Which is right?

÷ 2 (1+2)

Now if you're "good" at math, there's absolutely NO reason for you to arrive at an answer other than 9!
My reason?

Going back to BODMAS, you have to solve whatever's in the bracket (parentheses) first. Then you proceed to the next order of operations which is where "o" comes in. Of/Others/Orders simply means indices or things like squaring, powers/exponents, square roots, etc (I'm not going to explain the other signs).

Let's solve:
B
(1+2)
3

Next up is division (after "of")
6/2
3

Then you multiply:
3 (3)
3 x 3
equals 9

Those who arrive at 1 solve it this way:
÷ 2 (1+2)
÷ 2 (3)
÷ (2 x 3)
÷ 6
1

I know you'll probably blame PEMDAS (but don't forget you solve from left to right with this!), yet how do you multiply 2 over a bracket(parentheses) while it(2) has a sign by it? That's breaking the rule! Secondly, since you carried 2 over to multiply, what stopped you from doing the same with 6? Hmm.

P.S I used an online calculator, my phone's calculator, and even a pocket calculator...and with the same setup, they all arrived at the same answer. NINE!
