Happy Birthday To Ya!

Hip hip hip...hooray!!!

Yesterday, July 15 was my birthday. And while I refrained from the usual (dinner,house party and what not), I had a splendid time hanging with my love--my big sis Rosie and a few friends down in Edwardsville. Rosie drove 2hrs 30min straight from work to come bring in my day with me (Sunday night). We went to The Landing in STL with another friend. The Casinos was awesome...oh yeahh, won some moola! :-)

My apartment at Enclave

While I was feeling special on my day (like I should) with numerous texts and calls, I got some relaxing time at at the pool with Rosie. We spent a little over 3hrs soaking up the sun and boy it felt so good! It was actually my first time going to my apartment pool (I never have the time to do so). Later in the evening we went to the movies with some friends to see Grown Ups 2. It had everybody in the room *dying* with laughter. After the movies, some more movies, but this time was at a friend's apartment.

This year felt different because I was away from family and some close friends, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I feel truly blessed for the things I've been able to accomplish and I look forward to what is yet to come.

It's my Birthday!!!

Yay happy birthday to meeeeee!

I’m thankful for my life and its on-goings.

So today I just did luch with a few members of my family. I’ll continue the celebration next week with friends and my older sibs.

My outfit was just a loose top with with a pair of jeans and Christian Siriano Gator pumps. The jacket on the other hand was used should incase the restaurant got a bit cold (which it did).

I know how much I dislike peep toe pumps, but I just had to get this! Love the texture, print and color!

#OOTD: FashionBombDaily

Let me start off by saying that I am today's Fashion Bombshell. YAY.

I put myself up because I’ve been following Fashion Bomb Daily for a while now, and also to share my style with ladies of mutuality.

Let me say that it’s sad that some of these readers can be so cruel and hateful with their comments. I've seen this with so many entries as well. Is it the hate, or are they just bitter? Hmm. All I want is for their opinionated minds to send in some photos so that we too can critique. Yeah? Maybe if I was a girl with a low self-esteem I’d cry my eyes out at those comments. Jump off a cliff maybe? OK that’s too extreme. Lawwwl.

Anyway I love those that complimented my looks and critiqued in a responsible not-so-harsh manner. If you’re a stylist or someone in the fashion industry, I respect your “opinion”. But if you’re none of that, what do you know about looks wearing people? I'm not sorry that smiling in photos or looking good for you is NOT my forte.
