Happy Thanksgiving!!!

There's so much I'm thankful for that if I had to list them out, it'd be a biography!

However, I'm very much thankful for my life, my family, the few friends I have in my life, my education/career, and the many other things God has made possible.

Thanksgiving is so different this year. Usually, every year, my mom hosts thanksgiving dinner. But since three of my sibs won't be home this year, they decided to take a drive down to a family member's home to dine...this only means Christmas celebration WILL be massive!

Hello there!

Hi guys. It's been a while, I know.

The semester is slowing coming to an end, and with that comes projects and papers and exams and...

Tomorrow marks the beginning of our Thanksgiving break, but I'll spend a portion of it doing some more school work.

So I saw "The Best Man Holiday" this weekend.  First of all, if you haven't seen it, make sure you do. The movie was filled with laughter and tears. There are lessons to be learned and will, at the end, leave you evaluating  your life. From family, to friends, forgiveness, gratuity, guilt, fun, love, forgiveness, acceptance, and the list goes on.

All I can say is cherish every moment!

I absolutely loved my Fried Philly sushi! All time fav.

Hey guys! So last weekend, a friend of mine came to town to celebrate her birthday and we headed to St. Louis to chillax. We went to have sushi, and man..Fried Philly has never tasted so good! I forgot what my drink was called, (Muay Thai I think), but it was bomb!

For my outfit, the skirt was my first pick. If you've followed my blog for a while or know me personally, you'd know I love my skirts. I love how this particular one; it accentuates my small waist while giving me the curves I never had lol. And because it was a little chilly, I opted for a long sleeve top and paired it with my favorite nude pumps. My hair was on a different level that night, and since I had little time to get ready (was completing my 12 page  research paper all day), I turned my scarf to a turban. 

We had a great time at The Landing, and a fun night overall.

Strips & Polka Dots

Hey guys! I just wanted to show you how I styled the sweater and skirt trend.

I had no trouble picking out the sweater, but when it came down to pick a bottom, I had to choose between the bell skirt, a skater skirt, or a pencil skirt.
I chose to pair the skirt with the sweater, disregarding the different textile patterns.
